Day 1 – Altopascio to San Miniato; a long, long walk

Day 2 – San Miniato to Gambassi Terme – not so long, but hard

Day 3 – Gambassi Terme to San Gimignano – shorter, but still non-trivial

Day 4 – San Gimignano to Colle di Val d’Elsa – a fording delight

Day 5 – Colle to Monteriggioni – Adventures beside the river

Day 6 – Monteriggioni to Siena – Long but not too hard

Intermission (Impossible): Siena

Day 7 – Siena to Lucignano d’Arbia – more like the Camino

Day 8 – Lucignano to Buonconvento – Short but interesting

Day 9 – Buonconvento to San Quirico d’Orcia – a decent walk

Day 10 – San Quirico d’Orcia to Castiglione d’Orcia – short but sharp

Day 11 – Castiglione d’Orcia (almost) to Radicofani – Ford Focus

Day 12 – Radicofani to Acquapendente – Down, Right Cheating

Day 13 – Acquapendente to Bolsena – long walk, varied conditions

Day 14 – Bolsena to Montefiascone – dreaded but actually delightful

Intermission II – Montefiascone

Day 15 – Montefiascone to Viterbo – Tedious, then tremendous

Day 16 – Viterbo to Vetralla – just this (hot) day, really

Day 17 – Vetralla to Capranica – a hot walk, but a good one
