Cinque Terre, June 2026

In a dramatic break from our long walking trips, my wife and I visited Cinque Terre in Italy for, erm, a short walking trip. I had heard about the eyeball-aching picturesqueness of this area some years ago, but only now could we happily fit it into our plans. HF Holidays were our hosts for a week’s walking and general fossicking in the area. Senza drone of course – the miserable buggers who are TPTB* in Italy have declared the area a national park and hence banned any aerial photography. Huh!  However, we departed with high hopes for worthwhile terrestrial photography.
