These pages describe a trip that my wife and I undertook to Norway in August/September 2025, visiting Oslo, Dovrefjell and – the principal objective – Svalbard and its environs. We wanted to see the North Pole* before some dangerous clown goes and melts it.
* Look, I know we won’t get anywhere near the North Pole. But I’m still worried about the dangerous clown. And the geopolitical shenanigans which threaten to engulf the region.
